After two months of use, I have to say the part is awesome:
- Super processing.
- Quality and comfortable materials. The resting on the back of the hand material is soft, not a cheap neoprene which exhales and the sweat pores drives.
- Individually adjustable to camera and hand size.
- Flexible used:
a) On camera without battery grip using the knurled screw to the tripod socket of the camera - or:
b) to cameras with battery grip (as allowed to the knurled screw off and attached to the lower part of the strap to the mounting eye of the battery grip.)
At my 6d with battery grip the strap is fastened in variant b). The handling is super. As a rule, I have the Tamron SP 24-70 / 2.8 off, often the Canon L 16-35 /. 4 Both combinations can be readily and safely quarrels with the loop and bring safely through crowds.
Super well, that does not bother the loop when changing the battery when using a battery grip, because the battery sled when the 6d BG off to the left side and enters.
Concerns I had initially whether the wrist strap would restrict the use of the control elements of the battery grip - especially the vertical shutter release. But this concern has proved unfounded. You can learn quickly, the loop with your index finger or thumb of the right hand to push where it does not interfere.
The strap is recommended for fast and safe use of hand out perfectly and fully! I do not want to miss!
To - if it is necessary, for example while hiking in rough terrain - both hands free, I have the tripod connection of BG mounted a Pellor shoulder strap. On the left of Gurtaufnahmeöse 6d I beyond a fixed JJC ST-1 wrist strap (which holds despite click closure made of plastic, the 2.5 kilograms of my standard combo). Thus, I can sometimes relieve the right hand.
To summarize: I wonder how I got along many years without this wrist strap. That thing is awesome and has the original neck strap with its EOS 6D lettering displaced forever in a dark drawer :-)
