Why so much packing material for a voice like this? !!

Tamia Washington is not very well known in Germany. As you of course, the question arises whether this is fully justified. To forward to giving an answer, however, I must differ with Miss Washington between voice and music. Tamias voice is beautiful, gentle and powerful at the same time and therefore deserves recognition. The music, however, is the vocal potential of the singer rarely meet. That one Tamia in Germany so do not know, is not unfair in some ways. However, when the untalented Hupfdohlen à la Britney Spears draws on the comparison, then Tamia has far better pieces and vocal talent. And visually the Canadian is a feast for the eyes.

The track made 2004 a stir because Fabolous brought out as a single with "Female Soul Singer of the moment" Ashanti in the first place. 3. Officially Missing You: Tamia singing there with primarily soft voice a snip on the beat, the tw. very reminiscent of Toni Braxton songs. A highlight of the album! 4/5
4. Still: The lyrics are about 2 people who in spite of ups and downs still love itself. It is a slow-jam number, but it lacks the number of momentum and a good climax. The production is also unfortunately a bit thin and sounds overdriven 3/5
5. Questions: This track was written by R. Kelly and one of his weaker numbers. Tamia sings almost continuously breathed. In the background you can hear sound gadgets that are reminiscent of water drops. 2/5
6. Whispers: Here Tamia will premiere the right voice. A beautiful ballad, but still average. 3/5
7. I`m yours lately: The best mid-tempo jam the disc! Tamia singing breathy and slightly reminiscent of Aaliyah. Very successful! 4/5
8. Into You: Nice intro and nice Hip Hop Soul duet à la "dilemma". The original was better but because Tamia rapper really does not need. Nevertheless, the song is perfect for the Sommer.3,5 / 5
9. Smile: Here Tamia first time collaborated with Babyface. A very beautiful ballad! We are particularly impressed by the verses warm Tamias and powerful vocals. 4/5
10. Poetry: Tamia singing again a very strong-voiced ballad with very rich beat and chorus deposits. Here her voice is full. 4/5
11. Mr. Cool (feat Mario Winans.): In the past Mario has produced better tracks for Tamia and goodness not sung Thanks! Both sing here a minimalist beat. In the song, nothing happens until the end. He simply splashes along. Filler! 2/5

14. Tomorrow: Tamias cover version of this song is sung very beautiful and powerful, and rounds off the album. Unfortunately, the beat is too loud, so you can not hear well Tamia. But there's finally here the musical and vocal highlight, on which you have been waiting the whole time. Therefore 4/5
Conclusion: "More" is much filler No song is really bad, but many lack the production songs like "Why ask why" or "Mr... Cool "sound so minimalist that they seem unfinished. Also, the ratio of the volume of voice and music falls more often to Tamias disadvantage, since the beats they drown too. Tamias vocal performance also comes only a quarter of the songs expressed. In can, however, still ignore, since you do not always have to sing out. Comparing "More" with Tamias debut and the follow-up "A Nu Day", one arrives at the conclusion that Tamia has rather taken a step backwards. It lack the rich production and material as "You put a move on my heart" or "Stranger in My House", song, which can shine and stand out from Tamia pabulum. Also of your own style here is not to identify. Many sounds like before heard very innovative and unfortunately only average. In "A Nu Day" the wheel was even not reinvented, but it rolled!
