Widely recommended PC version !!!

The scenario gives a rather jaundiced view of Sao Paulo, with its "moneybags" that go in boxes aboard private helicopter, its corrupt cops, its gangs that hold sway in slums.
Amid this beautiful bazaar include Max Payne, guard completely clueless body at the bottom of a large glass of whiskey or vodka.

The removal, under his nose, the young wife of his wealthy customers will be an opportunity to awaken the "beast".
Chaining headshots and bullet-times, Max Payne will carve its way in Sao Paulo, determined to fulfill his mission ... even if the American gringo seems to be a pawn on a chessboard that exceeds.

The achievement is superb, and at all levels: graphics, staging, dubbing (James McCaffrey excellent performance in the role of Max Payne), music.
The game has a real "identity," and that, you can not remove it.

Regarding the gameplay, I do not know if it will appeal to all players. I must say that Max Payne is based on a rather particular system coverage and slow motion.
- When you activate a slow mode, you are pretty much invulnerable for a few seconds and can chain the shots, hands down.
- But when your gauge is idling at a standstill, in your best interest to remain stashed because the enemies will not miss you. Or it will jump aside to reactivate a mini-idling sometimes leaves to make a wall. (Ouch!)

So on one side, the game gives priority to realism, strongly limiting the number of weapons in the inventory (everything must fit in your hands!) And slowing your race depending on the weight of your equipment. And on the other side, you have to play in "Neo - I slow down time" if you want to kill our opponents. A bit ironic, no?

Anyway, to have tested the game at the handle (xbox 360) and later with the mouse (on PC), I confess that this system is more suitable for the mouse. More precision, more speed in the execution ...
A joystick is also playable, but it's not as intuitive - or as responsive. So if you have the choice (and if you have a good PC !!) prefer a PC version and use the mouse + keyboard combo

PS: Given the very high quality of dubbing in English, I will refrain from criticizing the lack of French voice.
While I am not necessarily a big fan of subtitles (and there are many here!), The original voices are really worth!
