Wiedermal an unplayable porting.

Konami is part of the way, apparently ignored every email with the word "patch". In North America, the game is more than 4 months out and there is no comment from Konami.

But now for the criticism of makes the game unplayable:
The Sound. The sound is something wrong with you notice most likely based on the running noises. These come (in my stereo headset) exclusively from the right side.
In cutscenes you know it very quickly. If z. B. a person who is left of the camera easier to hear than that which is right in front of the camera.
It is not easy to put into words what is now running exactly wrong. We only know that in any case there is something wrong.

My guess:
The game features no settings for the sound (apart from the volume). So you have no choice between stereo and 5.1.
In the Xbox 360 but is far as I know the responsibility to distribute 5.1 signals useful to a stereo system, a separate chip. But this lack of logic, when PC.
From game therefore 5.1 sound is crushed to 2 speakers. This can not go well, of course.

So of course you can play a game. If you look around times in the forums of Steam you find enough people with the exact same problem. Partial have even 5.1 systems and still not get a proper sound.

In the game you have to then ignore the colors and only pay attention to the numbers. What in fighting might also be a bit difficult then.

Incidentally, there is no way to restore the default settings. So if you have something changed has it apparently rumprobieren through again unravel. Because in the settings, the 4 buttons are identified with me not as "Button 1", "Button 2", etc. but some key "button 0".
So the colors do not match the controller while the internal name of the key in turn, not to the numbers match ... or something.

All in all a lousy porting a Silent Hill game which puzzle has exchanged masse opponents.

Addendum:
Konami has officially announced a patch. The changes, however, are very clear. It is merely a bug be fixed which brings the game when changing the resolution to crash.
Release date is unknown.
