1. Outside of the test program I would an article that times nothing brings the Onlnine dealer of choice except for the name and a few images on description, pay no attention. I'm usually not so much the guy who only long round looking at the store and then converts the purchase decision online. So, as the item is currently set, I had the NEN Remnants, not worth the research time held.
Of course you can get the information with a few clicks of the Sony-page -
2. For a few minutes I thought (after connection of the system), I would have for the first time receive a defective item from Amazon - the USB port did not make a sound, no matter what I infected: not the hard drive, none of the sticks has been detected , Just as I already anwarf the PC for the pending complaint and go out more quickly tried to audio in port, he awoke still alive. And since funtkioniert perfectly. I hope ^^ for longer
But now to the actual evaluation of the device ...
I had bought time not too long ago a very similar mini-plant for my living room, the Philips MCM2000 / 12 Micro Music System / compact system (CD / MP3 / WMA player, 20 Watt, USB) black, the so about the same in the Waxed class plays. Comparisons are therefore available.
The complex is small, compact and looks at first glance quite chic. However, the large rotary knob - and I could not see in the picture) high-gloss and also, well, faceted previously. That will probably serve the grip, the thing makes but defacto to Discokugel ^^. I have set up the device in the afternoon in bright sunshine, and there were already very significant reflections - throughout the room.
Sunlight is at all difficult: the display is only very weakly illuminated - be able to read in order that I would have to stick with the nose on the device. But even if the lighting is not as bright and penetrating any light through the window, the display is not very easy to read. I also can not see that you could change etws on the setting.
Sound: for the little boxes quite neat, but it seems to me to be etws much treble a bit thin and in direct comparison with the MCM2000. But for the higher HiFi enjoyment can not be bought so a dwarf indeed customarily also.
Ease of use: The remote control works relatively bulky, but fits comfortably in your hand. Alls pretty manageable and largely intuitive, only the channel scan I had to seek out the manual. The controls on the device itself are mounted on top of the unit - I personally find not so great, but is a matter of taste. For one or the other stand-up place could prove inconvenient but that. However erbibt as natural a stylish and clean front.
The audio-in slot is housed on the unit back - for my intended use does not matter, for quick access but it is not exactly the rage.
I miss a Mute option!
CD: Given on top mounted controls I thought a few Schreck seconds, this would be a Toplaoader model. Is not it. However, the drawer looks a bit windy, but moves quickly and quietly in and out. Not quite so softly it comes to when reading the CD, also when stopping selbiger. You could almost be called "wheel", but in any case disturbing.
Radio: The antenna is apparently not very good - the range of reasonable adjustable transmitters is low. When existing Phillips which is much better - there is the antenna, however, also twice as long.
DAB + can not evaluate, since I live in a transmission hole in the border area to Denmark I unfortunately. Quote digitalradio.de: "For the location xy unfortunately could not receivable channels are determined." Pity! I would like to have tried it out.
But for that, the device can even now nothing ...
Conclusion: All in all a solid piece of equipment for moderate claims, especially for those who can take advantage of digital radio and want. For anyone who does not intererssiert that Phillips-device in my opinion has the better price-performance ratio.
Nachbemerkungen after moving to the final Standord (bedroom)
For one thing, now do something in terms of DAB reception. But not much, and even in good weather. But that is as already described at the outset rather than where I live on the device. On weak FM reception, nothing has changed.
Very negative occurs to me now, however, the CD player on the really incredibly noisy. For playing music in front of / to fall asleep rather not so useful - it needs a certain music volume level, umd the running and operating noise to drown. I have compared the sake again kept my ear to the Phillips plant in completely down-regulated volume. One hears minimal start and hardly warnehmbare running noises. For use as a sleep aid so prefer this Philips MCM2000 / 12 Micro Music System / compact system (CD / MP3 / WMA player, 20 Watt, USB) black or another quieter, buy!
