Good, but not great. The book is written correctly, nothing more. I preferred - from a distance - the book of Arthur Clearing. Describe the prison when he was 20 years rub is (I think), much less interesting than when it is known for several days. Moreover, I prefer the story of Clearing, which describes what he sees "day by day". Olivier Maurel him, launched into a narrative interspersed with anecdote way "come back", just as a retiree who tells his old life to his grand-son. The description of the prison officer's job is perhaps more comprehensive (compared to Clearing), but the narrative is suddenly less immersive.
It remains a good book, but to choose, I prefer that of Clearing. If you have read spawn, I suggest you go your way. Perhaps that why he slightly bored me.
