Here you can not complain much, all the parts have been processed properly, no sharp knew. The only shortage after a few months of use: The drip grid of drip tray has moved slightly and no longer fits 100% into the holder (but not shaking, only notice when removing)

All in all a very successful design, but 2 negative points are noted.
The entire machine is black, has anyone thought why in the design phase to the top of the machine allows to let know not to understand (and was also in the newer version (in purple) corrected).
the second negative aspect consists of 2 points together, the locking wheel of the machine and the 2 pad side of the bracket, as the machine is not square, the wheel in the locked position of the machine stands out. The pad holder is also apparent from the machine when it is turned on 2 pads. Here summarized Both points to, as these can be easily stop by one bars and turn on 1 pad after use.

very convenient, the machine is not high, but by removing the drip grid, fit easily under glasses (which is impossible with a Senseo, there fit partially already Cups only by force and tilted)

The amount of produced milk froth I find perfectly adequate (about 1/4 of the milk forms a froth) and the milk is heated sufficiently. But the milk system is definitely not the best on the market, which is also to be expected for the price but.
For coffee flavor
Significantly better than the Senseo, the coffee tastes produced significantly more for coffee than the same variety from a Senseo pads.
However, one should note here that if you are used to the taste of certain pads, these may differ significantly from the taste is pretty and the varieties should be re-tried.

Caffe Crema of Senseo taste out of my WMF10 no longer, as it is very bitter.
Blak - tastes quite the same from Senseo / WMF10 (is however not sold in Germany in the store)

Classical - WMF 10 wins also
Colombia - here wins the Senseo due to the flavor, smell from the Senseo better (tastes pretty much the same)
Sumatra - WMF10 wins
Vienna - hard to decide from the Senseo coffee smells better from the WMF10 one tastes the flavors more.
Generally speaking, from the WMF10 has a stronger taste of coffee and already is more suitable for lovers of strong coffee.
6. Hartpads? / 5
Here I do not understand the frequently mentioned problem. Some reviews complain that can not use the Hartpads WMF10. Here then the question: Why should you?

So why Senseo cappuccino buy if you simply can press Cappuccino?
The only exception would be cocoa, here it is possible to note, however, that the WMF is suitable for cocoa.

7. Cleaning 4/5
Many reviews here complain that the froth subsides quickly and the machine was therefore partially returned.
We are dealing with a fully automatic, they require a thorough constant cleaning, especially the milk system. This is all fully automatic equal, I worked in the restaurant business with large fully automatic machines and they are built every day apart, scrubbed and disinfected (which takes 30 minutes a day), the WMF 10 is as easy to care against.
Here, then, how the WMF 10 cleans correctly and so whatever gets the maximum foam:
First of all: the rapid milk hose cleaning can be totally neglected, that brings nothing at all, it is much easier and faster simply deduct the milk hose and hold briefly under the faucet to flush the milk.
The machine should as required (whenever the milk foam subsides (which is not used for 10 cups a day of the event) or the machine longer) be cleaned as follows:
1. Remove Kaffeepadhalterung, where appropriate, remove the use-pad and rinse under the tap again.
2. After the pod holder rinse again inserting and lock (without pad)
3. Remove and wash the Abtroffgitter, let out.
4. Remove the Kaffeedüse, this can be pulled off easily
5. Pull the milk hose (if not yet in fact 1) Kürz with clear water of indoor & outdoor rinse.
6. Pull milk head incl. The tube system dadrunter, this can also be easily removed when the milk hose is from.
7. Now the important part for the milk froth: thoroughly clean the head and the tube feeding with a bottle cleaner, it has all dried milk are removed (bottle cleaner fit wonderfully into the openings to clean from the inside)
8. The milk nozzle (red under the hose system) should not be removed because it extends this with a wet cloth to wipe.
9. All parts removed, rinse again and again began, order: supply hose on the red nozzle, milk head on the tube and then the coffee spout.
10. Now once the run "big" cleaning program (hold down the flush button until it starts), mugs impute not forget are the 300 ml.

Done sounds like a lot of work, but if you have made it 1-2 times, lasts all less than 5 minutes.
Once a week should the entire milk system (ie hose, nozzle, head, etc.) into a bowl of Spüli overnight because it is milk, milk contains fats, these are deposited inevitable from the system and reduce the amount of milk foam (and coagulate at some point and then it is disgusting).
This method is much easier and above all cheaper than 10 issue of the WMF milk cleanser that is enough only for 2 cleanings, certainly contains protein remover, which is significantly faster than Spüli, but if there is overnight in Spüli, it is just as clean as with milk cleanser and may cost 5 cents (water + Spüli) (rinse The next day, rinse with clear water and do not forget great cleaning program !!)
What is often overlooked: the milk tube itself, you can see the small parts scrub comes to the doctor when the tube is not clean, even with the foam and taste is nothing.
Cleaning the hose is somewhat more complicated, because the opening is so small that you walk in not good there. This can be solved as follows:
Hose in Spüliwasser dive, take the wet hose in your hand and press from the outside vigorously with a fingernail of the thumb and pull (slowly, not tearing the hose when the hose begins to redraw itself ansetzten and move on) until the nail on the other side of the tube arrives, if you do this correctly, you can see the yellowish mucus comes out there (even if the hose looks clean), while repeat until only water comes out (usually 2-3 times).
And depending on the milk coffee consumption hose also from time to time exchange, buy just 1 meter from a hose, and every few months time a new piece cut (1 meter rubber hose should not cost more than 2-3 euros and extends loosely over 1 year) ,
With a consumption of 10 cups, it is advisable to carry out the cleaning described above daily. Lasts 3 minutes and there is no frustration in the morning when no milk foam is there.
8. Miscellaneous
Dealing with milk:
Milk always cool, it is recommended that a small measuring cup, which you can use after refrigerate and a small bowl of water next to the machine in which you can hang the hose (so it does not drip)
Alternatively (for the really lazy;) Just take a longer hose and plug directly into the milk carton (normal hose length is only about halfway into a milk carton), saves the extra pot for milk.
Who really needs a lot of milk froth:
Rinse the glass briefly with hot water, producing more foam when the glass is hot.
Use whole milk (the more fat in the milk all the more foam) but also more fat deposition in the machine and more necessary clean, those who do not need a ton of foam, I recommend low-fat milk (enough foam and less deposits)
