The lid is made of harder rubber-like synthetic material which is stuck well, but can lose weight easily. Of course, for some strength is required. Dear WMF: might prefer simply conjure up in the future a right to pouring the pitcher, then such useful information are not at first needed. (If the current instruction apparently been deleted. Furthermore, is this - to be seen in the picture - shiny black ring at the bottom of pitcher pretty firm. After a cautious attempt, I thought, well great, does not come off. Now for the operation:

So I have the mixing time to 2 1/2 - extended 3 minutes and lo and behold, beautifully creamy, smooth, ... glorious. So then even (essreife) mangoes were to puree.
It is still, frankly, quite exhausting to be a loud engine unit 3 minutes before so, without ear protection. I would not say now that the Stelio is louder than most, but it is still ... really loud. Uncomfortable.
LOVE product developers: How about because, because sometimes simply a sound insulation in Mixer insert before assembly ?! Can not be that hard. Am relatively sure most of it even 5 would pay more.
Shortly something to smell: we are talking about a 600W electric motor bearings and high rotational speeds. It is completely normal that something like this in operation a little smells, as ne electric train maybe. Only after charred plastic it should not smell.
As far as I was so happy after all the little machine. So why only 3 stars?
Because I thought for about 8 months to have found gold. Unfortunately, not in the basement, parking or in the Rhine, but directly in the recording from the mixer. From then on, after each use, golden dust, as amended. He is still working, but I was the risk too great that it breaks up, just when the warranty period is over. I have therefore zurückgschickt the blender after 11 months almost daily use. If this special effect does not occur, but there is a cheap, good and well send mixer at the start.
