With the party smashers, who know all of Wolfgang Petry, I could always do something only conditionally. Clear, are catchy or were they, but lyrically it was yes but often at the border.

Now this CD lies ("his finest ballads") here before and lo and behold, it's a great CD with a musical and lyrical quality content. Wolfgang Petry has beautiful ballads, finally is this side of the artist given more space.

"Close your eyes" or "because one day maybe" are wonderful, meaningful ballads. "Turn Turn Turn" (an English ballad) shows another Wolfgang Petry, who would in English be able to enforce. The title remains long in the ear.

By far the best title of this album was in 2000, a single release - "Nothing of the sort." One of the most beautiful love songs of recent years. Wonderful melody, touching text, great interpretation.

Mr. Petry, thank you for this CD!
