I wonder how Elton John manages to also check out his 40th album on yet to accomplish such a feat. The CD is consistently varied, perhaps even breathed predominantly somewhat melancholy. Wonderful ballads on this CD are American Triangle, where you have to notice that this piece exudes a sad-melanchlische mood. Furthermore, Original Sin, what you definitely could use as a wonderful love letter ;-). Ballad of the boy in the red shoes - for me already a fantastic title and this piece is his name all justice. Another ballad is Mansfield. Already at the beginning of the piece, a melancholy mood builds up and you wait downright sure how to proceed. For me the song is like a thrilling romance ;-). More beautiful pieces, like Dark Diamond (fits in my opinion to a visit to a bar), Love her like me (a little faster pieces with funny text content), This train do not stop ..., The Emperor's New Clothes, I want Love and Look Ma, No Hands enhance the perfection of this album. The songs The Waste Land and Birds affect me a bit chaotic. But it just fits anyway ;-)! So: For me, again worth a buy and for everyone who is anyone wenigtens to Elton John, worth a look !!!
