This CD-book is an original idea. Take the figure of Baudelaire, heard what he heard (Beethoven, Liszt, Wagner, etc.) and then the great composers who set his poems to music (Duparc, Debussy, Dutilleux, etc), and finally the great artists the song that did the same (Ferré, Montand, Gainsbourg, etc). There are also texts and Baudelaire's poems to music beautifully played by Irene Jacob between songs, and an introduction very well done with the thought of the poet. A wonderful invitation to travel that covers two centuries of music, and a verb ageless.
