I have the cutter used twice to cut all of a Micro SIM to nano-SIM, both times successfully. Cutting on Micro I have not tested.

In itself, so it worked out, but you must be extremely careful to insert the card into the slot properly, considering it has some air and not automatically correct in it is. But if you do that, so looking from the bottom of the cutter and reorients maps, then it works.
