However, my device has from the beginning a loud noise (vibration, rattling, creaking), caused by the not particularly accurately fitting plastic parts of the housing.
Only a complete disassembly of the housing and an inferiority of insulation material to the vibrating points, and a partially bonding the housing halves brought a significant improvement here.
However, I use it anyway only if I am not present in the room, because he gave me for a living room is still too loud.
What now but still most bothers me is the still significant odor: After turning on the dehumidifier, especially after prolonged exposure, it smells at first (so for about an hour) uncomfortable under the old engine oil.
I fear that in this device rubber parts cheaper quality are built. This cheap rubber inferior quality often as plasticizer polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (carcinogenic), which are obtained in China from the waste product creosote. Therefore, the odor of used oil smell of such rubber parts originates.
In a device that is used in homes for indoor climate improvement, it may simply not come to such odors (about the possible health aspect of this odor nuisance to mention ...)
I forgive therefore only two stars for this device.
