After purchasing a a58 I had the problem of "new hot shoe - old Blitz". I wanted very much like my Metz 50 AF-1 reserve, because I also have a second older Sony camera possesses. So I needed a adapter that supports at least TTL. While normal flash units such as a manual or a Yongnuo Canon Speedlite 430 operate without an adapter, but without TTL (ie manually). Thanks to this adapter's doing a tremendous described above with the A58 + TTL support. So far so good ... if it were not for the price. Just under 30 Euro are quite steep. That is why I also give full functionality despite only 4 points, because for that I would have expected something like gold-plated contacts and ;-) eg no plastic-locking thread.
