The device itself is OK: I had but thought you could hang the device into an existing WLAN and then connect a printer. That's what I at least do not get to the manual. Rather, the device must be connected to a LAN cable and can then control a WLAN enabled printer via WLAN. Anyone who does not have Wi-Fi enabled printer depends actually back onto the cable. That's why I returned the unit and easily bought from the same manufacturer, the normal LAN Printer version without Wi-Fi radio.
