The hub is transparent to Windows and does not disconnect eg when disconnecting a device plugged into it, or when you restart your PC ... My only regret regarding the size of the cable a bit short for my taste. Indeed, the big worry of the USB ports is that most ports are often on the back of the tower PC. And it is precisely the lack of front ports that justifies the interest of a hub. However, these ports can be (depending on its housing) on top of the tower, making it necessary to ask the hub over, and even then it does not necessarily holds very well due to the winding of the cable. But this is a secondary defect that will not affect everyone.
