Works fine, just a little whimpers.

This power supply was now since July 2013 almost every day for several hours on a Dell XPS M1530 notebook in use and it easily provides power. It is not overly warm. I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the device - it will probably involve original DELL goods.

However, the power supply is a very high frequency, cheeping, but small sound - even when the notebook is off. During the day, I find it not to, but if you sleep in the room with the AC adapter, it may already disturb. In the case then helps pull plug only. What bothers me is this penetrating, blue LED on the plug, the night flooded half the room with light. A discreet LED would have done. I umklebt the plug for this reason with black electrical tape. For these two issues, there is a star deduction.
