This cable works such as properly on a Microsoft Surface RT. Because the Surface RT is however slanted in the HDMI socket, the plug slightly out of the housing stands out, but this did not interfere with the function. There are also original cable by Microsoft, but they are considerably more expensive, but then sit snugly in the slope. I use this cable with Amazon a Microsoft Surface RT and have been no problems with it.
