Works for me, despite the bad recessions

I have already counted so due to various recessions and opinions on the web that does not all the same work right away and you may have to try a lot (div. Flash operations etc). But since no convenient alternative is to stream DVDs on IPad, I thought I try it I try. For less than 30 euros I could accept it even if I can use the Smart Hub sinvoll only mormalen USB DVD burner.
When configuring you need a PC / laptop with wireless card. A configuration via LAN is not possible.
Once you have inserted the CD, a configuration program starts. The steps are actually all self explanatory but I could not change the SSID because the program could then no longer get through. I had the Smart Hub reset three times and did it but then left and does not change the SSID. In the next steps, the program lost more often connect to the Smart Hub. After several restarts the configuration, I managed eventually but everything complete without errors.
Now I have charged me the associated app for my iPad mini 2 (iOS 7) and installed. Unfortunately, the app could not find the SmartHub. I read through my coming tart the app and here was the crucial clue: DNS Server on the pad manually back to 8.8.8.8. When I did it incredulous, knew the app find SmartHub and the DVDs are played smoothly and without problems. Although I do not understand the Google DNS server must be entered here why, because no connection to the Internet, but it works and that's the main thing.

I would have here but a somewhat more sophisticated software desired for 30 euros and a lack of alternatives you can get this one. I speak here only of the DVD's functionality over the network play, all the other features I can not judge because I do not need and therefore not tried this.
