When the part arrived, I unpacked it and tested only once with me. I have my Pana plasma a Yamaha RX-A1030 AV Receiver with 5.1 Nubert system. That should serve as a comparison. The Connect is easy: HDMI plug to the ARC port on the TV, power, subwoofer anywhere in the room ready to stream. The setup you do with the small remote control that was there for the normal operation then reaches the FB from the TV. Just as I wanted to have! Everything else I had my mother never can tell.
For sound:
Of course, this sound bar can not replace "real" big speakers. Volume is known simply irreplaceable, except through more volume)
But to be honest: For the price that sounds really good! Bass is plentiful, as you have to also play something with the site. The transition frequency of Subs is now not so overly deep. So he gives also shares the relatively high frequency components of the signal. Here, then, please experiment a bit with regard to the setting up and the bass level. For my mother it is now actually on the shelf, which has proved itself best.
The speech intelligibility has increased dramatically! It has also the ability specifically to raise the dialogues separately and make louder. This works very well, however, sounds from a certain level then unnatural. So here also each be setting must be found.
Streaming music via Bluetooth is simple: connect phone, press play, done. I got it with a Nexus 5, with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, tried and had no problems. The sound in music is also convincing! Clear, large speakers with a separate amplifier or AV receiver can therefore not be "beaten", but it sounds really good! The sound is enhanced beautifully by the subwoofer and everything seemed very full and present.
Another tip for all shoppers to: Please Measure to how high the bottom edge of the TV is, if you're planning the Soundbar VOR to lay the TV and not to nail to the wall. When my mother's TV installation lying would not work because the Soundbar is back exactly so high that they would block the infrared sensor. Also annoying: The surface of the Soundbar would mirrored image from the TV.
So please measure it short, or just below the television on the wall or shelf mount what :)
Conclusion:
For the price I'd say that part is really unbeatable! The installation is extremely easy! Everything works perfectly with the TV remote control (Panasonix TX 42ASW654). Bluetooth streaming is working properly.
The build quality is impeccable, everything feels high-quality. The display is easy to read and can be dimmed, then you take it almost no longer true.
The subwoofer is an enrichment and completes the sound well from.
It can be operated completely via the TV remote control, at least for a Pana-TV. About other brands I can logically not say anything :)
Especially if someone is planning to install the part of his parents or grandparents, I can only recommend it! All easy to build, looks chic and is easy to use.
And one more tip, then I'm done, I promise:
Give some time to engage the system and your ears to each other. I thought immediately after switching also, "Oh, this sounds strange." I was just a system with large speakers accustomed.
But after about 10 minutes I had accustomed myself to the sound and everything was good.
Then I had to get back used to the sound of my system)
