There were no problems with the cable, just plug and work! The cable length to the mobile phone is long enough so that I can use the phone on the sofa while it is connected to the TV. The shorter USB power supply cable is sufficient for my purposes as the USB port of my Samsung TV provides enough power so I do not need a separate USB power supply. (So in the guidance suggested) Had it not directly working on the TV to the power supply, a longer USB cable would be nice - or you just take added a cheap USB extension, it go so no data on the line.
So I am completely satisfied with the cable! Mainly because the original Samsung adapter cost twice and would also require another HDMI cable. That would not only come much more expensive, but also determined yet uncomfortable with the wiring been.
