Technical Details:

I sit with a RHEL6.4 with the kernel 2.6.32-358.11.1.el6.x86_64. This does not provide a module for the adapter, but the driver from the manufacturer's website Asix compiles quickly and works flawlessly.

Performance:
About the internal Gigabit Ethernet port on my laptop to reach by iperf a transfer rate of 935MBit / s to my test server, which is quite close to the theoretical maximum of a TCP connection of 941MBit / s is an MTU of 1500.
