I have tested this drive with Linux (OpenSuSE 12.1 / 2 Gnome / Xfce). We must insert a disk before the system takes action. SuSE12.1 / Gnome seemed crash wanting to inspect all files and the disk does not mount if there is a corrupted file. SuSE12.2 / Xfce did not pose this problem. In both cases, one can, anyway, mount the disc manually (with the vfat filesystem, but Linux automatically detects) or insert the appropriate lines in / etc / fstab. In some circumstances (use of a file-browser?) Drive runs continuously and it makes a sound "80's", like that, at least, we do not forget that there is a diskette in the drive.
