Have the adapter for an older Toshiba laptop ordered with Windows XP, the built-in Wi-Fi does not yet have the current WPA2 encryption standard. To use him anyway in the current network with WPA2 I found this pleasant compact adapter.
Upon delivery, the exception not performed as fast in this case on Amazon but the adapter was in a blister pack containing a driver CD in addition to the Manual.
Unfortunately, the WLAN stick did not operate with the software in the supplied CD. Only after I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers on the website of Logilink to the computer via the new adapter logte easily integrated into the network. Despite the small size of the adapter is no difference between a current MacBook Air and this part with respect to the receive sensitivity determine.
Overall, I am satisfied with the properties of the adapter, but subtract a point in the evaluation of the software included on the CD, and neither current nor functioning.
