Unfortunately, I have experienced this behavior. - Put phone in the evening on the pad and in the morning the battery was only 80%, because at 100% charge has been completed and the trickle charging is terminated with an error.
However, this behavior did not occur always so.
Meanwhile, I have found a trick, which I almost always manage to carry out the maintenance charge without demolition.
Background: To save power, I had switched both at home and in the office only WiFi and mobile data off (and of course, energy saving on). - So the battery will last longer because less power consumption. - Obviously, this power consumption is too low for the inductive trickle charge, so that these breaks often. (Or they will be more stable at higher power consumption ... whatever, Hautpsache it acts).
My solution: I now always-Fi and mobile data is turned on and in the morning the charge lamp lights still happily to himself: 100%.
Otherwise, there is nothing wrong on both parts. The mobile phone is slightly thicker, but that does not bother me.
The pad is completely unobtrusive on my bedside table and in office at desk. - A humming or chirping, as well as read many times, does not occur in two on (and I have a sensitive ear).
Since I have increased power consumption, there is no more load outs. And the fact that the phone is in between some at the pad, I do not need saving.
Have fun with the part
