In my old apartment, only a fraction of the bandwidth over the wireless PC comes on. Since the phone jack is centrally located, there is also little room to place the router differently. The perfect solution, Powerline AVM. Taking children light running (actually just plug it in, turn and cable ready) and ready to use. Only actually from my 50.000kb / s come 49.0000 to the computer. Latency for online gaming are completely within the normal range (for World of Tanks ~ 40 and 50 ms). No disconnections or the like. I very pleasantly surprised. Only the price of course is quite steep. Although I feel much more comfortable than patch up the apartment with repeaters this solution.
