because on the packaging, the 3G is not explicitly mentioned, I raise this here out again. On the packaging front is "Made for iPod - Works for iPhone" and behind "For iPod touch, iPod nano with video (3rd generation), iPod classic, iPhone, iPod nano (2nd generation), iPod with video, iPod nano (1st generation), iPod (4th generation), iPod mini. " Since I was already skeptical. But it also works with the 3G.

The processing and used external materials appear to be of high quality and well worth the money. The charge indicator is designed as a light ring on the connector top (in the photo the big white ring around the logo) (white = off, red = 12V, orange = invites, green = loaded) and looks very good.

The cable is relatively short (about 15-20cm), but as a spiral. Up to a car mount for iPhone / iPod at the windshield but it is likely to be very scarce.
