Unfortunately, I realized in everyday use that the pedometer very, very often do not count, and so he only comes to 700, for example, rather than the mitgezählten 1000 steps. In the manufacturer's instructions of the manual, I found the reasons for the faulty count:
"Reasons why the pedometer may not be able to reliably count:
1. Irregular speed:
When you sip or sandals or similar bears (I run in the house like in socks, so has the pedometer big problems, and I also wear out like sandals, even this is difficult. So you should generally wear sturdy shoes, just so that steps can reliably are counted)
If you can not run smoothly, for example, in a crowded place (run evenly means that you must not have any tempo changes in the household, it happened to me constantly that I'll go slowly and then faster again)
2. Irregular movement
If the meter is in a bag that moves irregularly
When the counter depends, for example, in a pocket or on the hip
3. Vertical motion or vibration
If you stand up or sit down
In sports other than skiing
Climbing stairs (I have a lot of stairs in the house, because the meter constantly to its limits) or on a slope / slope
On a bike, in a car, train or bus (unfortunately there are in the pedometer any button to interrupt the daily step count if one in between is not on foot times, so either the values have to write, and then at the end Pull the day writing the total value, or one gets sometimes just for example by cycling 1000 steps more)
4. When running slow "
Once the movement speed is slower than it is the case with a brisk walk, the counter is regularly made, and it is almost the "gambling", whether counted or not
The only meaningful for me and nice everyday use, for which the pedometer brings a benefit for me is if I want to count my steps while walking (here he has relatively reliable count) or if I want to know how long a distance traveled hiking route actually is (you can read the distance traveled, because you can program the pedometer means set stride individually)
CONCLUSION:
For a memorable holiday with sturdy shoes the pedometer provides relatively reliable results, for an overview in everyday life, the device is due to the many limitations and irritations not unfortunately. Too Bad.
