Use this adapter to connect an external monitor to my Acer Aspire V5 notebook to connect. Was concerned at first because Acer called its port as "Acer Port Converter" and does not guarantee proper operation when connecting a DisplayPort adapter it. But I had so far no problems and took advantage of the adapter already about 5 months. Can recommend him.
