The problem was the accuracy of the touch screen at the edges. Here you have up to 5 mm next to the icons, press this to operate. A calibration is not possible, a turning of the screen content to 90 or 180 degrees does not help.
Since I assumed to have possibly received a defective unit, I decided to send the tablet back and to order an identical device. However, this occurred exactly the same problems, which of course does not rule out that I had in turn caught a "Monday-tablet".
But then I decided to go for a mere 20 more expensive Lenovo A7-40.
Conclusion: investing Dear 20-30 more, but you get already a mature brand tablet.
