Works with TrueCrypt!

Possession of the 4TB version.

Since then, in two (!) 2TB hard drives from Western Digital with 99% Formatting with TrueCrypt, an error (sectors could not be read) had occurred, I am then on Trekstor (2TB) vice saddles (worked flawlessly). Since Trekstor does not offer 4TB, I ended up at this 4TB Seagate.
Formatting with Serpent-Twofish-AES, ntfs lasted approximately 74MB / s ~ 14 hours. I have not the best motherboard with USB 3.0 and a few limitations (only one slot> 2 ports etc.)
My colleague (also this Seagate) came to 147 MB ​​/ s when formatting (also fine)!

She writes to me with ~ 52MB / s
Mate ~ 80 MB / s

Addendum of 18/12/2013:

After half a year, the board is still running perfectly.

Since I 8.1 (previously 7) have been playing Win, writes the plate with ~ 95MB / s of my internal SATA2 disk (read)!
As I wrote above, I did not have optimal USB 3.0 settings. Apparently were the new OS more optimal Eistellungen (regarding motherboard -.> USB 3.0) were made. That by almost 100% performance can be achieved, but I would not have thought.

What can I say? The speed of this "boost" has no equal. Only my SSD is (of course) more quickly.

Addendum of 11/04/2014:

Since then, I have a new SSD (System) and a new SATA3 disk (data) in the PC use (previously so SATA2), data is written from the SATA3 to 4TB disk with 160 MB / s! I continued to use Win 8.1 + TrueCrypt in 4TB!
