Very small converter identical to the photo saved me a big expense at least 500 to change my amp Onkyo 2000 that still works very well. Ideal for amplifiers that do not have HDMI and having only one optical input. At home this optical input is used recently by my Samsung UHD screen. I could not enjoy the airplay of the Freebox v6 and multichannel sound from files stored on v6. So now it's all good after a few settings of the v6. In Settings "Audio" to -. "Main Audio Output" to SPDIF / "Enable Passthrough" YES / NO and I set to "activate the secondary side outputs Little Amp fright as I had some describe the crunches and of its cuts with the entry Coax 2 so I plugged COAX1 and sound is top nickel without any interference. The optical cable holds great on the case but it must be clipped IMPORTANT optical SPDIF on the case (hear bed) if no sound. Negative but not a choice, 90% of the weight of the package, the external power supply is also larger than the converter itself.
