Was the first question that came to my mind when I heard the first time of the HD version of the masterpieces of Final Fantasy X and X-2. Surely, I thought, would it only superficial changes such as the resolution or the 16: 9 format.

After a few skeptical considerations I bought then and was overwhelmed!

+ 1920 x 1080 resolution
+ Revised models and textures, and effects
+ Newly set to music soundtrack
+ Graphical adjustments (menu surfaces, dialogues, etc)
+ PEGI version (in German PS3 playable, German subtitles, English language edition)
+ All Extensions Japanese version (These are available for the first time outside of Japan)
+ A lot of other content, which promises total of 200 hours of play!
+ Trophies

Conclusion:
I can recommend the HD Remaster version to anyone who already liked the PS2 version. It is clearly more than just a Aufhübschung and promises a lot of fun. There are also many extras that were not previously known to the western players.
