Worthy sequel to the Elder Scrolls series

"Skyrim" is the 5th part of the Elder Scroll series and you might think, so slow was the air out. But exactly the opposite is the case. Bethesda has developed this game, a new act that easily connects to the story in "Oblivion". The programmers have remained true to the game system. The character creation is already part of the plot, and the senseless collecting experience points is left to other game systems: the hero increases his knowledge by having them applied or shouldered with a trainer, not by slaying hordes of rats with the hammer, to improve its magic ability. This is Elder Scrolls differs from other game systems (eg AD & D).

Bethesda has moved the action to Skyrim, the kingdom of the North. This gives the opportunity for einrucksvolle landscapes, visual effects and new vegetation. Regarding the graphics Bethesda has placed compared to Oblivion least gained a lot. Players will experience reflections in the water, during dives, the view is clouded under water and when climbing the mountain one of blowing snow in the face or curls gently across the surface. The faces of the NPC are very detailed and the action gives one the impression of having it not dealing with programmed loops but with real characters.

For all the praise for the game itself, but it must be said that - unlike stated on the packaging - not a Steam account and an Internet connection is necessary for the activation of the game but also to play himself. Ultimately, then, is the "PC version" a "Steam version", which is delivered on DVD.
