Since mid-August, I have now the final version on the desktop (for students there was the possibility to use more and for nothing:) [MSDNAA promotion program]). Thus I gained a bit of experience with the OS. The installation was easy and went very, very fast. In about 20 minutes the system was brought up fresh. First einnem falls on the high speed of the OS. Had previously operated with XP and Vista and the same hardware. The difference is clearly noticeable. This may also be due to not least the better multi-core CPU usage. With programs like Speedfan the single core utilization in applications in a beam system can be represented. While Vista and Xp try to charge a core as possible (probably unintentionally) loaded W7 the seeds as evenly as possible from. Even the memory of hunger is no longer as high as in Vista. Scared I was initially against avoidable compatibility issues. Often-not just in older program end will soon pop up a compaibility troubleshoot window. W7 recognizes but reliably the correct compatibility settings and the program has been brought to me in 100% of cases and running (and even with the 64-bit OS). The surface itself is much clearer and therefore become even faster. The folder features are improved and particularly the taskbar is greatly changed and optimized. In any case, a big step forward. There are also nice features that make it to throw a Permit individual window on the screen edges, thus eg adjust the window on the whole screen or just half of the screen. Extremely practical. Just to compare two windows that face each other on one side. The search function is also substantially better than for example in Vista. Quick and even fail. Also, I hae the impression that W7 uses the hardware better, because I now have lower average temperatures of the hardware components. Microsoft could be a in my opinion, reduce cope with this OS be bad image. Definitely, this system can replace the reliable XP. My Recommendation!
