I use it ...
* Often to call
* Widely used for SMS
* Often to check my e-mails (via IMAP)
* Often as Calendar
* Widely used for navigation in the car and on foot
* Sometimes to navigation while hiking (per TrekBuddy)
* Sometimes for voice notes
* Go to rudimentary browsing (via Opera Mini browser and Facebook app)
* Not for the camera
* Sometimes as an alarm clock
* Sometimes a calculator
* Sometimes referred to as MP3 players
What I like:
* Very compact, fits in your pocket
* Good keyboard with large keys, with whom I like to write
* The bundled applications are very abundant (even Quickoffice and Adobe Reader LE-are), do their job,
* Also the Navi is useful (and not error-free) and works especially without an internet connection if you have previously downloaded the cards (DACH was factory on the SD card)
* The phone can be well operated with one hand
* Contacts can be found directly from the home screen by simply typing the first letter (surname or first name) very quickly
* Global Search is just great (searched by contacts on calendar to all messages)
* The mobile phone does not go "all long nose" to the Internet such. B. at Android
* Synchronization with Outlook (contacts, calendar, to-dos, notes) works well (though I use the older PCSuite, not OviSuite)
What I like less clear:
* Camera with 5MP (even) worse than the older 3.2MP version that was good for at least for snapshots; the images are very muddy and full of artifacts
* Camera settings are not stored on the camera is rebooted application (z. B. Scene Mode)
* Contact addresses and the Nokia Maps application are not integrated - there the desired address must be again re-enter
* The (of course, small) screen displays in some applications a too tiny for me writing (but then need reading glasses)
* During my first device of chrome paint was chipped off considerably from the 4-way cursor key after about 1 1/2 years (purely optical defect)
* The calendar application is (as with many mobile phones) unusable (I have replaced an older SBSH-Calender 1:51)
I use S60 and S40 mobile phones for several years and like this user interface (which requires only a few buttons) in spite of its nested menus and context menus.
Compared with the trip to the Android world (Sony Xperia Go) I'm using the keyboard easy goal more quickly - especially in the limited number of functions that I use every day. And a well-functioning navigation application or a voice recorder I do not go looking for first - that is factory there ...
The applications that I installed later are:
* Opera Mini browser (reduces the volume of data traffic through compression)
* SBSH Calendar-(instead of the built-in calendar)
* TrekBuddy (hiking Navi)
* Google Maps (to find the address as an alternative to Nokia Maps)
If I were to lose it again, I would buy it again ...
