The 414 makes administering and working with the NAS to a joy. The speed either at login, when working with the DSM or when moving data is a true splendor.
Disk change on the front of the box without screws and screwdrivers are also a big plus.
And the hard drives are much cooler than before in my 211j, about ten degrees cooler. Was it in the 211j still about 38 degrees, the plates are now working at about 28 degrees, the durability of all components certainly should not be detrimental.
The USB 3.0 ports are working rapidly, a backup runs at an average of 100 MB / s on the external drive so that I can live :)
The migration is simple: plates from old out NAS, and the push into new, turn on NAS, download and install DSM, the old settings will all receive. So I imagine that !! Outstanding!
Conclusion: Super NAS from leading NAS manufacturer cope.
