The structure is generally quite easily and should for experienced LEGO hobbyist swallow no more than 2 hours, in so far no one is working on a bid for the record books. Technically there is no stumbling blocks, such as those who already have experience with the ships of LEGO, pretty much know what to expect. By simplifying the many elements Wüstenschiff device at the end quite stable and revealed few structural weaknesses that can be found (the fold-out wing control) particularly on deck (the guns) and at the rear side panels. Said, considering many other LEGO models, the usual bleating at a high level is because the parts are quickly reattached if they fall off while playing but once. Here we are already talking about the core application: Normally I buy this type of model, to collect them and me to enjoy the sight. Simultaneously Jabba's sail barge, thanks to its magnificent playability (each section of the ship is through the unfolding of hatches or other flaps accessible) but actually much too good - so she is, her together with the current edition of the "Millennium Falcon", on the basis "doll character" the perfect gateway drug into the game world of "Star Wars". My daughter loves it, for hours to deal with the princess and the "evil worm" (quote) and in particular the "blue elephant Prince" (aka Max Reebo) has her very impressed and he has since become the hero of all the adventure in LEGO Star -Wars Universe, which may even fight with Darth Vader and provide space battles in his A-Wing.
But I digress. For collectors, the model does have its value, ie if you do not own the older issues or the current replacement cost of these then but for many somewhat too large. Perhaps there will someday again a UCS model to bark, that would be desirable in any case. For lately very fluctuating prices (between 60 and 100 euros are currently payable, depending on the "luck") is the set a total of a fair offer. Where the attention to detail though leaves something to be desired, the incredible playability sweeps everything out again and makes me also impose this model, Topwertung of 5 stars.
