Xbox One - Chargeable multimedia console

Meanwhile, the criticisms were almost all resolved:
- Youtube, Twitch, Browser, Skype and many other internet applications are now usable without Gold subscription !!!!
- Games and Scores are now be stored on external hard drives. If the internal hard drive becomes full.
Playing movies, pictures and music still does not seem to operate from external hard drives / thumb drives.

I bought the Xbox One me 3 days ago.
I must say it is really great. The housing processed well, the console whisper quiet. I hear they only really ultra rare, really succeeded!
Voice control works fine (after a little practice phase), as well as the gesture control via Kinect (with hands-tax). Very well done!
Graphic itself (for me Ryse: Son of Rome) current world class. No negative criticisms since, just stunning. Simply insert, play, enjoy !!!
The graph is now very close approach to reality. This was said with every new console and yet was always one set on it, but slowly we get the whole "Realtität" pretty close :-)

But that's it with the positive things, unfortunately ...

This time the negative things listed:

You need a paid Xbox Gold subscription so that you: be able to use Skype, YouTube, Browser and even TwitchTV ...
Is, basically anything that has to do with "Internet" you can only use with a Gold subscription ... So much for the "multimedia console".
Because all of these things I can use with all my other devices, such as tablet, mobile, TV and PC / Laptop free.
Why should I pay for Xbox Live Gold ?! I understand that you need a Gold subscription to games to save on the cloud in order to then retrieve them from anywhere in the world can (you visit a friend, can log in with your Xbox data, and invite all your games down to play in / with your friend can !!!). Or you can play online against other players, this is "Gold" also understandable since all the server costs caused that need to be paid so! But for YouTube, Browser, Skype, Twitch ?! What should the crap? These are services that are only going about my internet connection, and this I pay already with my Internet provider!

Next big gripe is no USB flash drive or external USB hard drive allows / supports ...
You simply should forget to use pictures, music or games from the stick out. Also is MP3 (currently) does not support ...
Very weak for a multimedia console. Multimedia is for me, I can have a NTFS or FAT32 (Windows formats ...) infected via USB and play the contents of it.
The .doc (Word / Office) formats would not be supportive, I can understand! But the JPEG, PNG, BMP, MP3, AVI, MKV and not even WMV (Windows Media Video, that in-house Windows video format ...) is supporting is just ridiculous ...
Sure you can all be solved with a "patch", but not as long as enough people do not get upset about it.

Tv. Rein in the Theory quite well. Watch TV while you can with someone Skype.
Only works with gold, because without gold no Skype. But let's leave ausenvor.
The Xbox itself does not have a TV tuner. Does you need a receiver that you connect via HDMI to the Xbox in order to get a picture on the Xbox.
That means you continue to use the remote control of your receiver to switch, auser this has to have special functions do this via HDMI (Xbox).
Likewise, people (including me) the only one TV in use (for me a Sony Bravia KDL 725) pitch. Since this is not a "receiver".
Does my antenna cable goes directly into my TV. My TV itself provides all the channels available (built TV tuner).
I have decided this because I wanted no extra power costs with a receiver, is indeed unnecessary.
But for an Xbox you need def. an external receiver to be able to television. But this was also aware before purchasing the Xbox One.
For this you have to search on Google images of the terminals of one only time. This has only one HDMI In and HDMI-out.

Apart from the 2 (to 3) negative points the console is really class.
But not their monetary value. NOT momenentan. Because currently, as it is, it is only a "pure games console" that has barely games on the market.
And for outputting 500, in my opinion simply not worth yet. You might just as well wait until more games have come on the market, and then buy even cheaper ...
YES, each of the negative points can be patched. USB sticks / hard Platen are allowed. Skype, YouTube, Browser and Twitch be harnessed even without gold. But this other people have to complain, not only I :-) I hope this happens. Writes in forums, posted anywhere where you can this issue only. Tweeting about it. If more people are aware of MS is also forced to do something about.

Hope I could help some Xbox One interesstenten to decide whether they want this wonderful console now buy already or want to wait.
For myself, the early purchase was too hasty. Had I known these points mentioned earlier, I would have just waited to more games, etc..
But really, apart from the above criticisms the console is eindwandfrei as "game console" usable. Only without great games Offer (currently, stand 20/01/2014).
