Yes, it's big, it's expensive ... and it's really good.

I come from the iPhone 4s and was with the direction in which the iPhone and especially IOS evolves, no longer satisfied. And as for me already on the PC / notebook / tablet / XBoxOne Windows 8 absolutely satisfactory running and I've always wanted to give back Nokia ne chance ichs then done. Lumia 1520 - as it was. My first thought - My goodness is the GREAT (I knew that beforehand), in which case willste stuck that? Housing plastic well. So a big screen, how long the battery lasts well etc. BUT - all of that is forgotten once you get taken part in the operation. For me - impressive. Everything is quick as lightning, soft as butter, super smooth, sharp crack. The technical details can be read anywhere yes. What is written on paper at the Lumia 1520 comes when users also so. Maintain contacts, write e-mails, photos, videos, everything works as promised and does on the big, brilliant screen real fun. And with WP8 I move now on all my devices in a homogeneous, synchronized data world. Of course, always comes to the argument NSA spy data privacy, everyone must decide for themselves, I can only say for myself - I have nothing to hide. One more thing on the subject of haptic / material - the Lumia 1520 polycarbonate plastic - sounds first inferior / cheap to. This impression evaporates as soon as they took part in the hand. It feels like matte ceramic - an absolute flatterer. The surface is matt, thereby it is not slippery and can keep you safe. Against dirt and scratches, it is likely to be more vulnerable than a mobile phone / smartphone with a smooth metal or glass surface. For that I have the protective cover Nokia brought me CP623 - although is far too expensive, but the shell is hardly noticeable and made of the same material, ie handling and feel remain the same. Dating back to 1520 is available in white, yellow, red and black. The models in white, yellow and black are dull and have the material sensation described. The red model is painted / glossy, this I can not say anything. Battery life seems to me so far very good - I play for 2 days with the Lumia rum extensively - Battery residual 72%, sounds promising. Two things that personally I like them not so good. The pre-installed calendar is very, very poor. But that can be remedied very quickly by good (and free) apps. The overall usability of Music / Video / Multimedia I liked better in the combination iTunes iPhone. But with Nokia Music you can also live well. Oh - and you can make calls with it yet :) Since 2 days now entranced me this part and my wife already rolled his eyes when I take it in the evening on the couch in his hand again, even though I had it put away just 10 minutes before. All I can say to me: "1520 I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship" ...
