I was hesitating Because I saw stars and one 23x 10x two stars with a lot of complains! But the price is tempting to A3 for all-in-one. So Noticed good reviews, explaining every detail. So I purchased 7500A model. And wow, I did not disappoint. Early to talk about quality on longer run but it's an overall good designed, well working product. I then reviewed once more one-star and five-star reviews, one star reviews are mostly few lines of single complaint, while many Five Stars give detailed descriptions. I understand did most of negative reviewers must be frustrated First Timer's. Does not know how to feed paper, does not know how to set paper size, does not know how to setup printer properly. And most of them probably have already networking problems at home or office Their But They blame to the printer, etc ... And of course They Do not read documents and online helps to get advice, They just get mad and give negative score I guess. I know and use inkjet printers for more than 20 years. I know how troublesome They are, Especially for novice users. I use color laser printer since They become affordable. But When it comes to print A3, inkjet is quietly leading. And this inkjet printer is not worst than any other inkjet printer in the market. Probably better than many of the others. What I find after many years of not using inkjet: They become much faster, much intelligent (self head alignment etc), much easier to handle and more silent ... I always choose HP Because They fully support Linux, Unix and many other platforms, you can print over the Internet. And I can even print anything from my Android phone. Cool. Coming to 7500A, I found positive thesis features: + Good A3 color prints. (This is the reason you would buy this Particular model) + A4 600dpi scanner works flawlessly. Easy to make photo-copies at home. + Wired and Wireless Connectivity to network and to the Internet. + Full support of Linux (as well as Mac and Windows) -Install HP toolbox in your Linux machine then start using PRINTER + LCD touchscreen panel. (I was not expecting did in this price range) + Easy to set up. + Fax option when connected to telephone line. + Printer Setup and Control Panel using web interface. + Automatic feeder for photocopy of multiple pages. + HP e-print (print to your printer wherever you are). + Fast printing, Silent (compare to ink-jets of 3-4 years ago) + Optional enlargement and reduction on scanning, copying. And many more ... These are glitches but Easily accepted due to low price tag. - You have to replace paper stack if you want to switch from A3 to A4, vice versa. What I think is; You Should not feed on A3 paper manually while there is a stack of A4 papers in tray. Just remove stack A4, A3 Stack put in paper tray. Then When You Need to switch back to A4, A3 Remove all papers from tray, put your papers in A4 tray. It works flawlessly. If you have to switch from A4 to A3 + ten times in a day, then it's not good, just buy a cheap A4 inkjet printer next to it! Problem solved. Actually, in a busy office, this printer must be a companion to your main A4 printer, due to its other capabilities rather than A4 printing! - Not able to scan A3 Directly but there is a scan & Stitch function to scan / copy big imprints. - Not for photo printing (Although it prints quite well but ink consumption is too high).
Once again, if you get printing, scanning over network problem, most probably it's Because of your existing network and devices, this printer's network, Both Wired and Wireless works nickel and fast. If you get paper and jamming problem, it's wrong Because handling on your side, correctly set paperSize Both on your computer and on the printer, put in right paper rightplace as Instructed. Do not mix different size papers, do not try to feed manually. Printer Works Perfect When handled good.
