Well, how long I've been waiting for the new album by Muse, it felt like decades. No wonder if the band is Muse, who has made a previously so scorned music only tasty. Writing a good successor for "Origin of Symmetry" is almost impossible because ... But Muse have done it right again, because they have not tried to copy plump, but are further direction "find your own style and start again" driven. (I'm concerned, that can go on forever) Although the first "show business" was a hammer debut, but we noticed that typical Debuts uncertainty that had all the great bands of the world at the beginning (seems important for a good development of bands to be). "Origin of Symmetry" then suggested, at least for me, like a bomb; So emotional and roller coaster-like skirt I had not heard before. After initially mandatory critical voices today are pretty much all agree on the great qualities of this album. Now "Absolution" there and I'm thrilled. Matthew Bellamy sings as beautiful as ever, Dominic Howard plays much more sophisticated and more imaginative than ever before to drums and Chris Wolstenholme grooving just congenially before him. But at the Muse typical, classical-tinged harmonies yet little has changed, so what is different? One will notice immediately each: Matthew occurs here a little of the guitar back and sits down at the piano more often than previously. Do not worry, you can hear the guitar just as emotional as before, but just a little less. That makes my eyes but nothing, because who does not just get goose bumps at the just beautiful and at least as emotional sound images of the piano, which is already dead. So be careful at all, where the piano did not like the second album! The piano is on this record even more part than before (I like it :) In contrast will perhaps some (like me) noticed the partially rigid riffs negative. Did they previously always times like wandering and surprised a most pleasant part, they are unfortunately rooted something and stay frequently as in some New-metal counterparts, a great pity! But seems to be intent, because you so directs his Augenmwerk more often on the piano addressed. Well, who likes this: \ The conclusion is a beautiful plate stand that is recommended every Muse fan anyway, but fans could find piano music in the area. It only remains to hope that this panel, as the two predecessors, yet can inspire in years.
