My made with this part of a A580 images are crystal clear. The lens is the brightest in my humble collection, which also includes an "old" Minolta 50 / 2.8 Macro (RS) and a 100 / 2.8 Macro (RS) belong.
The lens distorted wide angle typically slightly barrel-shaped; However, the only moderately trained eye takes this distortion hardly noticed. My DxO Pro software calculates out this distortion because it has fortunately an optical module for this lens.
My first photos with this lens were of my loved one with "You're doing great photos!" acknowledged. You are right. ;-)
CA I have not noticed (but neither landscapes nor photographed building), for a beautiful bokeh and a "set limit" of about 30 cm between focus point and sensor.
The remains now it first for a while. :-)
