Processing:
The build quality is really good and I like it even after several hours of work with the lens. The packaging had made me expect bad before unpacking, as these simple acts only cheap, but it sets up quickly when you have the lens in their own hands. These acts definitely very high.
Sharpness and image performance:
You have to pysikalisch To get to 8mm in 3.5er aperture quite a bit to do with the light rays so that they arrive still halfway neatly on the sensor. At first I thought that this Fisheye simply is not really sharp, but admittedly was because you simply have to get used only once in this kind of focus. It is not visible if is now in focus in the viewfinder or not. The sensor of my camera showing me the true to, but this is not always accurate. After several attempts and forward a little and but here, I had the hang of it and then the images are sharply up into the edge.
It is clear that small compared to the sharpness which I achieve with my 50mm prime lens, but that's also not at the request. it should always be a clear, that is the objective, the overall visual effect.
This report is still incomplete, since I still have to expand before him as soon as I tested the comparative lenses. So far, I must say, however, that under the favorable Fisheyes the Walimex has cut best.
Overall I would give the Fisheye definitely five star, as is obtained after a short familiarization time very spectacular shots. I would buy myself again (which I can not say all Fisheyes).
Update 1:
In some reviews, there was talk that you get the fisheye strongly dim needs to take clear pictures. That's right, but the shooting in 5.6 are very sharp. Here precisely the enormous refraction plays a role that needs to compensate for the lens. I will for this purpose upload some test images.
