Processing:
+ Quality haptics
+ Material largely (stable) plastic, the outer side of the ear cups is made of aluminum
+ Good attenuation of ambient noise
+ Stable cable
Comfort:
+ Comfortable to wear, but not so perfect like the AKG models
- Relatively difficult for the earcups
Others:
+ Can be folded as diverse DJ headphones and therefore transported less space.
The most important - The sound:
If you had previously rather cheap headphones, you will sound the first times (especially before or during the burn-in) perceive as rather narrow-chested, because cheap models tend to Basslastigkeit.
After a short acclimatization, you will know, however, to estimate the differentiated bass reproduction.
For immediate enthusiasm, however, makes the very transparent sound that is full of details only so. However, this requires a high quality recording possible because the headphones glossed over nothing.
The sound was my part compared with the following headphones: AKG K 272HD Studio, Sony MDR V700 DJ and Ultimate Ears Superfi 5 EB in-ears.
The HFI 780 could not really keep up in the bass range, especially with the Supferfi 5, which in direct comparison rather "dull" sounded and the richness not reached. Similar was the comparison with the Sony, only that these further lagged behind in terms of transparency and richness, while the bass fatter auftrug, but did not so differentiated. What was surprising was the comparison with the AKG headphones providing the Ultrasone neither in the bass could still reach into the other disciplines the water. It sounds stupid - because you can hear the 50 euro difference in sound clear out.
Conclusion:
The headphone is especially suitable for people who want to learn in as much of your music.
One discovers a whole new details in songs that you've heard already estimated 5000 times. Who but rather is "phätt Bass" is here probably not happy.
Since I use the phone primarily for making music and for mastering, he is nearly perfect for my purposes; but he also makes the normal listening to music right mood.
