"Throgh the ashes ..." can easily be compared with the legendary-brilliant debut "Burn My Eyes" hardly shy. Rob Flynn has become his voice noticeably evolved without losing sight of the tangible anger in his performance. This fact is used in songs like "empire" or "Days turn blue to gray" super advantage. The album shall coincide with the top-line "Empire" going on, a very varied pieces in my opinion all the strengths of the band together. The following pieces such as "Bite the Bullet" remain solidly high level and invite you to simply mitbangen. Other highlights of the album are already angsprochene "Days turn blue to gray" and "the Presence of My Enemies". All in all a metal album as I my wishes: According to act angry without prollig, great player with great recited lyrics (especially drummer Dave McClain is again the soul from the body skin).
