The problem with the pads is that they simply are too thin for my sense machine. Compared to original pads just a little thinner. Thus, the hot water is not correct "pressed" by the pads, and the coffee is pretty limp. I once moistened pads briefly under the tap, then they swell slightly and then comes delicious coffee, but that may not indeed be the intention ...
There are certainly pad machines that get along well with slightly thinner pads, my original sense but unfortunately fails to do so ..
