Boris Vian tale perfectly the story of a doomed love for each other the most complete success (beauty, wealth, intelligence ...) but defeated by the disease. In this work, metaphors come alive (the narrowed apartment, sunlight decreases, the mice will play ...) and plunge the reader into a dark room (or creepy) to upset the more if the story was told in a "normal" ... It retains some violent or funny anecdotes, such as murder to the rink to hit ice skates, to interpret the first or second degree function, or the pianocktail which associates each piano piece played a tasty cocktail ...
