With album number 2 I expected no major style change or development, as Zaz was quite independent and strong with their first album. Well good to hear that they will not attempt to copy the debut. The 14 songs of "Recto Verso" sound a bit groovy, fresh and a little popiger - without kitsch or act Radio Supercharged. Many new ideas have been realized with the acoustic sound already known. Only rarely do you have a de-ja-vu experience. Compared with the debut much remains before the hanging first listening, I find there was the first work somewhat bulky.
In addition, again a nice booklet with lyrics and a quality Digipackhülle.
A really interesting album of a talented singer who has mastered her instrument well and some good musicians on board. Well worth buying!
