I have several Zelda games behind me and loved the series from the beginning. Now I have long wondered just which Zelda game for the Wii I'm going to buy myself and had previously researched extensively on the Internet, which is the better - Twilight Princess or the new Skyward Sword. After reading several Rezesionen, and as many were there who were against Skyward Sword and for Twilight Princess, I decided nevertheless for the newer of the two. And I must say ... I did not regret it !!! :) Skyward Sword convinced me right from the first second. Vorneweg I want to say that I was not so long games. I only managed a temple. Therefore all data refer to this point in the game. If I subsequently have notice important things, I will add. The graphics like it very much. The colors are represented in all their variety, so that you may move in a beautiful, friendly game world. The only thing that I found not so good at the beginning, was that the colors as "garish" appeared that sometimes I could not read the writing. However, I played first on a very very small TV, what this problem also just lay ^^ The writing was so small here, no wonder that one could read only with difficulty. For a larger TV that everything is not a problem. The worlds are beautifully done, in every corner there is something new to discover and no space is wasted. I find the world quite large and extensive, so that you have enough to discover and spend a lot of time with the game, assuming you studied every angle. However, I found so far no world so large that you get lost or can no longer find your way around. The callable at any time card is very useful and simple design, so you always will cope with it in doubt. What I always liked a lot in the Zelda games is that you will not immediately thrown into the adventure, but that once gets to know the world and the characters, and can become familiar with the controller. In the control I was skeptical whether the with the 1: 1 transmission of ect Wii controller to sword. works so well, but again, I can only say ... Super! So far, everything went flawlessly and I did not even have swear that link does not do what I'm doing with the Wii controller) The controller is generally very pleasant and you quickly get used to them and to himself found in them. At first it was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to deal with some opponents, say how they defeated, but at a pinch is indeed here the good Phai advice aside and gives the necessary instructions. Many have always written that they found Phai annoying, but I can not confirm yet. On the contrary, I have taken her help on several occasions to complete and was glad. So far, however, no match was too heavy and I was also never defeated and with a little practice you manage even the opponents, who were initially a bit tricky, in no time. The puzzles are one thing, then that way. Some are very simple, as long as you need not think. But there are also more difficult. In the first temple there was a point where I just was not getting anywhere. But do not worry ... There are a great option, the Sheikah stone. This stone can show you visions in which you see, to solve such difficult puzzles and tasks. So who is not moving forward again, needs no frustration push, but to get to the help functions and on. The only thing that I find not so good is that there seems to be only a Sheikah stone and you have to return to it again and again when you need his help, and then you start the temple from the front and once again defeat all opponents needs. The story so far I like also very good, especially that one link sometimes gets to know a different side, not from the outset as a green hero. It is very exciting and captivating in any case and you'll never want to stop playing. Also, there are in addition to the main Story smaller side quests, so it is never boring.
In summary, I can only say one thing ... Zelda is and remains simply great! It's a really great game that I recommend to anyone who owns a Wii. 5 stars are not enough;)
